The client sought to update their outdated bungalow, create additional living space, and reconfigure the layout to better suit their lifestyle, with a focus on open-plan living and enhanced functionality.

To bring the client’s vision to life, we transformed the garage into a spacious second bedroom and opened up the main living area by merging the kitchen and adjacent bedroom into a large, open-plan kitchen/diner, featuring a modern Howdens kitchen with smart storage. We upgraded the property with a new boiler, central heating, and replaced all doors and windows for better efficiency and style.

We reconfigured the separate toilet and bathroom into a larger, more practical space and added an ensuite to the master bedroom, complete with a bespoke Howdens wardrobe system and a hidden dressing room. A small utility room was also created in the hallway to maximise functionality.

The bungalow now boasts a spacious, modern layout with enhanced functionality and stylish finishes throughout. The transformation not only increased the home’s living space but also significantly improved its flow, making it perfect for contemporary living.
